A round towered church in the Essex style, one of only 6 in the entire county. Closed when we visited, but the exterior doesn't disappoint. Beautiful views from the churchyard. The weather was grey which made for a very gothic look to the photos.

This is a beautiful medieval church with a round flint spire. It is plain whitewash inside, but has great peace and tranquility. If you can get the key ( sadly not open all the time) do make the effort as it is one of the oldest churches in Essex.
