Really enjoyed the contemporary service, modern hymns with an excellent team of musicians leading worship. Informal for a Church of England church. Vicar in collar but not robed.

Stunning. The church and area is gorgeous and holds so much history. It was really neat to see Anne Bronte's grave as well.

This is an awesome place to visit on the way to Scarborough Castle. It was originally built in Norman times and was mostly destroyed on the castle side by the Royalists for Charles I during the civil war. It was the Parliamentarians under Cromwell who destroyed most of Scarborough Castle Keep and left us with what we can see now. There are very interesting details in the stonework that the volunteers will be happy to show you. Also, one of the flagstones in the floor is a fossil. Anne Brontë died on the grounds of The Grand Hotel and is buried in the adjacent graveyard.
