If, like me, you’re looking for a High / Anglo-Catholic church with a multi-ethnic congregation in the Tottenham area, then you won’t go far wrong with St Mary’s. A decent turn-out (today’s service sheet said there’d been 111 people at last week’s 10am Mass!) Incense; candles; Stations of the Cross; plus Our Lady, St Martin de Porres & Sacred Heart statues where you can light a candle. Victorian fresco-style paintings depicting the life of Christ along the walls above us in the nave were beautifully painted, as are the Stations. They do a 10am & a 12noon Sunday Mass plus weekday Mass. Just as I was leaving, l found a little shop in a side room by the main door selling prayer cards, rosary beads etc. A lovely, friendly lady minding the shop went out of her way to assist me, we then had a chat and introduced ourselves to each other (since it was my first time here). Very welcoming impression overall and I’d certainly come here again.

Its seems from my interaction with the vicar that he needs to practice more of what he preaches. He came across as passive aggressive and unfriendly. I am glad I don't worship at this particular church. I will end this review with a verse from the bible, I am sure the Vicar would know well. "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." : Colossians 3:13
