I don't even go to this school, but recently someone I am acquainted with experience racist harassment by some of the students that attend here, making monkey sounds etc. So, her father called into the school, and they didn't do anything because there was 'no proof.' This is absurd- they could have at least agreed to do an assembly on the issue to raise awareness.

Hm, where to begin.. I hate the colour scheme and the food is a way to torture the kids and make them want to die. we dont learn anything cos we just spend the whole of lesson time distracted by thinking of ways to kill our teachers, my friend goes here and she complains about it all the time, absolutely horrendous.

If you want to go to one of the most soul-destroying schools ever, I highly recommend St Mary's Menston; not only will you get the soggiest bread you've ever eaten from the canteen, but you'll also be guaranteed at least 10 spiteful comments from teachers every day. Mr R Nield's description of the lower set pupils as "numpties" and how he'll be placing the new student with them is an excellent example; regrettably, this is not new behavior from these teachers, as they have previously allowed students with learning difficulties to fall through the gaps (E.g. Mr Priestly laughing at a colour blind kid for being unable to distinguish shades on a geographical map). Being a student with undiagnosed (at the time) ADHD was difficult enough, and the staff is in desperate need of retraining in order to correct these flaws within the school. While covert research is discouraged in the research field because it is considered "unethical," I would strongly advise any researcher or OFSTED reporter to go in without warning at any time. It is best to begin the retraining now rather than later if St Mary's Menston wants more students to pass rather than concentrate on neurotypical individuals. You'd think that a school that "wholeheartedly" encourages diversity would create a safe environment for people of all races, religions, disabilities, sex, and sexual orientation, but they've still ended in failure. Along with my diversity argument, I'd like to include the fact that teachers like Mrs Harrison make homophobic remarks and use the cowardly excuse of "it's my religion" to justify her bigotry. Teachers in the English department also don't hold back from using the "N word," despite the fact that some argue it's for history and literature because it can be easily censored. Many women have felt unsafe here, and the staff has a significant propensity of victim blaming sexual assault victims. The Equality Act of 2010 prohibits discrimination based on age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and motherhood, race, religion/belief, sex (gender), and sexual orientation. They're referred to as protected traits. This indicates that the school is breaking the law by willfully dismissing victims of sexual assault, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of discrimination. Anyway, have fun with your dysfunctional system.

I am not usually short of adjectives to use to describe St Mary's Menston, but for once, I am speechless. For Christmas dinner, all I could have was Brussel sprouts and potatoes (which weren’t cooked properly), because I am a vegetarian: it's lamentable! They ran out of carrots, and the gravy was not vegetarian: abysmal! Usually, I would virtue signal and say this school is incredibly accommodating, but when it comes to food, I am afraid it is not! The worst thing was that I was starving! My advice to future students is to bring a packed lunch!
