The surgery has always been very helpful to myself & 5yo Son. Fast service over the phone, never on hold for more than 1-2 minutes & have always been fast in getting us seen if needs be. This surgery has also been extreamly kind & attentive in making sure all my appointments are made to the right hospitals regarding an illness that randomly come on last year. This has resulted in me getting a lot better Can't fault them.

I think some of the bad reviews on herre may have been people ringing up and expecting the impossoible as have only ever had excellent service here compared to any other surgery. Rang earlier and repeat prescription sorted over the phone in less than 5 mins. many thanks guys.

Something wrong somewhere, either with the overall system or this practice. Being on hold when calling for non-urgent matters for 25-30 minutes is the norm.

Have been trying to get my regular prescription for over two weeks now. I originally requested it online as a customised request as I was unable to click the regular request, the system wouldn’t allow me to change it. I called at the Pharmacy a few days later and no prescription had been sent through. I went home to try again, but the system locked me out completely. As it was the Bank Holiday weekend I had to wait until Tuesday 1st June to call into the surgery. I explained the problems with the online system and was told my prescription would be done by the doctor and I could collect in a couple of days. I wasn’t at that point given a new login ID, so am still unable to connect. I called again at the pharmacy today and once again the prescription isn’t there, it has not been sent through. I took the last of my tablets today, so have to wait again until Monday and a further three days to collect my medication, so nearly a week with my meds. I feel I have no choice but to report this to the General Medical Council, as one of my meds is a lifelong requirement, one needs to be weaned off slowly and the other is a Statin, so I should not be a week without any of them. I will called at the surgery again on Monday, and I will ask to speak to the Doctor direct. An extremely poor service.

I have been contacted regularly by a social prescriber who works for the surgery & I can't speak highly enough about how much help the gentleman has been. My own health has suffered as my dads has declined more recently & it seems no one wants to help or the wait is months on end (even more so during lockdown). A weight has been lifted from my shoulders that someone can help me find services that I didn't know existed & has taken the time to explain things in plain terms. My dad now has attendance allowance & this allows him to pay for someone this wonderful service also found to provide some company & even do some housework/gardening! I have not seen my dad this happy or well for some time, this service has been a lifeline.
