  Given one star all because of the attitude of the sales and management, the two men who came to do the install were friendly and competent. We recently had the front of the house cladded, when we first discussed the job with Wayne the sales rep, we said we wanted it exactly like next door we even stood in the street to look at how there's had been done. We were told its a straight forward job and ours would look like next-door, and we duely paid the deposit quickly followed by another £4000 pounds they are very quick to take as much money as they can. On the day of the install and after all the scaffolding was up, they then decide to tell us it won't look exactly how we were expecting as they would have to join board together instead of one continuous line. After several phone calls they convinced me that by staggering the joins we would hardly notice them, and I reluctantly let the job go ahead, however on completion it looks a mess with the joins, and not how we were expecting it to look like. A good example of how this company will fob you off when they told us that there would be joins they also said that everything was built bespoke ie specifically for the customer, yet towards the end of the build the installers ran out of materials, I said how long will it take to make enough material to finish the job as its all bespoke. They found it amusing that I thought it was bespoke as they said it will be here shortly its only a phone call away, they is nothing bespoke about this job. This whole job has been littered with lies and excuses from start to finish there customer service is by a country mile the worst I have ever come across. We are in the process of modernising the house ready for our retirement, which mean upgrading doors, windows and conservatory, it goes without question that we will not be looking to this company to do any future projects. So with the large choice of companies in lincolnshire and the surrounding areas of I would think long and hard before commissioning start glaze

  We had a door window smashed by a stone at South Kyme Golf club and struggled to find a glazing company to act quickly, as we had an important golf event the following day. All other companies quotes two or three weeks. I spoke to Starglaze and explained the urgent situation. They send a surveyor out straight away, built the window and delivered (by one of the directors!) all in the same day. Fives stars isn't enough to reward the amazing service we received from Starglaze, absolutely outstanding, above and beyond. Thank you so much to everyone who made our experience such a great one.

  SERVICE Excellent Highly recommended! What a fantastic company from start to finish! They genuinely take real pride in their work. We choose them because they are a local company and use SMART products which is what we wanted. Thank you to Derek who came to our home, no hard sell just friendly, helpful and informative. He continued to be available for the additions and changes we had throughout, nothing was a problem. Jodie was our contact in the office she was great, kept us informed throughout, checked all was ok and responded to emails super quickly, thank you. Tony the surveyor spent so much time to ensure we understood what our conservatory would look, he advised on options and ideas, listened and responded to our ideas and the vision we wanted to create for our home. He drafted and redrafted ideas. His work was outstanding and super friendly with it, can’t thank him enough, without his guidance we wouldn’t have ended up with the beautiful conservatory we have. As we all know you can choose a good product but it still needs fitting well. A MASSIVE thank you to Mark, Mark and Kev an amazing trio, super skilled, friendly, professional and went out of their way to make the experience an enjoyable one. It was fantastic watching it unfold. This was a really difficult fit, it’s an upstairs conservatory and access is really difficult. They didn’t bat an eyelid at the complexities but worked out solutions with a smile on their faces. The pride they took in their work was astonishing. It took longer to fit than anticipated but the fitters and office checked it wasn’t a problem for us. The lovely fitters said ‘we do thing’s properly, so you have a great conservatory.’ Now who can argue with that! There are so many companies out there who would just throw it up to fit in with the original timescale losing quality in the process. Not this company, they use quality products, fantastic skilled fitters and ensure they get it right. We are so pleased with the whole process and our beautiful conservatory that we have now decided to get more work done on our home using Starglaze, they are the best.   After refusing to quote over email for a basic 400x400mm window with exposed brickwork both sides, I agreed for a sales man to come and have a look. I say sales man because it became clear that was all he was. He talked at me for about an hour before even quoting me. He talked about all the amazing 'discounts' that he was offering me, and still came in at £1400. These are the rough costs to fit a window of this size from my own calculations £130 Window cost £300 2 men for half a day £300 fuel, insurance, overheads What on earth was the other £670 for?! I can now see why they were so desperate to send a sales man over. Pushy for you to accept well over priced windows. Nope.

  Really pleased with the total service from Starglaze from initial sales through to final installation. A great quality product which also looks really good and has transformed the appearance of our house. Salesman, Wayne, really knowledgeable and gave us clear ideas which made it easy for us to decide what we wanted. Surveyor, Trever, really conscientious and detailed in taking measurements. The team in the factory made high quality windows. Fitters, Darren and Scott, super efficient, friendly and highly skilled. They finished off the job to perfection. We can feel the difference. All of this and very good value for money.

  Had our entire flat windows replaced. I am a tenant, and I am the one that lives in the property so I feel I have every right to have my say as we we’re the ones that had to live through their shoddy workmanship. So here I am, my amazing landlady is dedicated to keeping her flat maintained and I’m absolutely honoured to be living and looking after her property as she lives away. She organised this company to fit all new windows the old ones were all single glazed with stained glass. Although beautiful the frames had rotted. The new windows we had fitted are very much as nice and extremely good quality and beautiful. On the day of the fitting we had moved all furniture and taken down curtain rails and blinds the windows are absolutely huge so it was not an easy task. We were then left exposed as had nothing to cover our living area we live on a main road. I left the keys as instructed outside in a safe place for them to collect. We were at work the following morning so they were to let themselves in. I had a phone call 9.45am to say no one would be coming to fit the windows on this day. So I had to come home and cover all the windows with bin liners, it was a terrible eyesore, I even overheard the neighbours complaining on how awful it looked. They postponed for a week later. Then on fitting day after living in the dark all week they came it took them 5 days or so to get them all done which tbh is good going really as it’s a big job I was happy with all of that. However during this time we noticed the windows did not open! I thought they may put the handles on and mechanisms for these at a later day. But when I asked the answer was they won’t open. The ones at the very top opened where we need a chair to reach them but nothing on the lower level opened. They said after they were all fitted they were going to have to order more windows which would require a wait of several weeks. So weeks later they came back to replace the windows so they could open. Also during the initial fitting we noticed they had not put handles on the sash bathroom windows We asked them about the handles and they said they’d put them on when they return to refit the windows . They came to replace the windows again when we were at work so we were home to double check we assumed they’d put the handles on as they’d previously said they would. They still months later have not been to put the handles on the sash windows so when opening them we have to put out hands on the glass of the windows so we can slide them up to open them. We had one window ledge replaced in the bedroom bay, but they were meant to also put a new window ledge in the living room bay and that never happened it was definitely in their plans. Looking today the sealer around the windows seems to be splitting and will need resealing again. When I noticed that,that was the final straw time for a review. Just to add.. we have had several windy days and have given the windows chance to settle. They still creak very loudly and there is a huge draft coming from the bedroom window. I dare say these windows was most likely some of the biggest they’ve ever fitted! Perhaps they were not that experienced. We have tried to contact without success.

  Brilliant customer service from start to finish. The ladies on the phone were incredibly helpful as I asked quite a few questions. The salesman who initialy measured up was not at all pushy. The surveyor answered all our questions in full and the installer who worked very hard to install very high quality units. No problem recommending this local family business. Thank you Starglaze.....................
