Kiran from Super Stars Therapy has been beyond helpful. She came to our house and our sons school, nothing was to much trouble in the assessment process. The report we received was extremely detailed and informative. Kiran has a very nice nature with children (my son felt really comfortable with her) and has also been so supportive to me, his mum with suggestions etc. We are working with Kiran on next steps because we have been so impressed.

My 5 year old spent 2-3 years being hyper sensitive to certain items of clothing and footwear. I was at a loss as it impacted every day life. Just getting out of the door each day was a huge struggle and could take up to an hour as she couldn’t find anything to wear that didn’t ‘annoy’ her. She could wear something one day then find it unbearable the next. It felt like nothing we tried helped long term and I didn’t know what to do next. I was so happy when I first spoke to Kiran as she was really understanding and empathetic. She asked lots of questions and reassured me that it wasn’t uncommon and that there were things we could do to improve the situation. It was a huge relief. It had been really nice to feel so supported and the things we implemented have helped so much.

I can thoroughly recommend Kiran's OT assessment. I found out so much about my son's areas of difficulty from her. We met for an initial assessment, which my son really enjoyed as it was like playing. She then was so helpful and flexible in coming to his school to conduct a full assessment. She was fantastic when meeting with the SENCO and explains issues in a very clear manner. I learned more about my son from him spending an hour and a half with Kiran, than I did in four and a half years of going forward and back to consultants. I didn't realise how thorough paediatric Occupational Therapy was and am happy to have found such a great OT. We really look forward to working with her in the future.
