I was put in contact with Homeshare as a possible solution to my mother's loneliness. She had been living on her own, with dementia. This had caused immense stress on me, leading to around 50 phone calls day and night. This had a detrimental effect on my home and work life. From my initial contact with Homeshare I found them (Sibel) professional and eager to help. After a number of video interviews we matched with an awesome young scientist. She has now been with my mother for around 3 months, it has been a god send. She understands my mother's condition and with care and empathy has improved my mother's standard of life immeasurably. I would recommend anyone looking for a solution, that doesn't involve placing your loved one in a nursing home. Keeping them comfortable in their own home, to contact Homeshare and give them a try. Practically it is great value also, being a fraction of the cost of a nursing home. We have accepted our Homesharer into our lives and have been happy to do so.

I would strongly recommend Supportmatch Homeshare to anyone looking to participate in a home sharing scheme, either as home owner or sharer. I cannot praise Zaira highly enough for all the time and hard work, as well as her professionalism, in doing her utmost to find the right match for my husband and myself. Not only this but Zaira provided much needed emotional support to myself through her understanding of the complex and difficult situation in which I find myself since becoming my husband's primary carer. This is in stark contrast to the lack of support which I received from another agency with whom I registered. Full marks to Zaira and Supportmatch Homeshare!
