You should've told CHP about the potential failure (turning of combi boiler randomly for two weeks) earlier. I had 2-3 wasted visits from CHP electricians concentrating on the thermostat sender unit. As for customer service you originally offered a single £20 food voucher, which you were offering for joining the Switchee family anyway. My boiler was being switched on 3 - 5 - 7 hours a day when unplugged. So in fact you were offering NOTHING as way of compensation. First time in 42y I am on benefits. You offered another food voucher (£20) None of this was my fault and my DD was increased by £50 before your receiver unit failed. I still think you could've suggested to CHP LANDLORD that this was an occasional failure. Eventually you 'fessed up . But as a new company, your customer service experience has been poor.
