A stroke of what seemed like ill luck led me to discover this gem of a cafe today, when I had a puncture on the way to driving my daughter to a GCSE exam and found the carpark to be a safe refuge to pull in. I had a refreshing breakfast tea and very tasty double espresso while I sorted things out on the phone, and the staff were so friendly and helpful that it really took me by surprise - they went above and beyond in their kindness. I didn’t have time to try the food but it looked both tasty and competitively priced, and the comforting ambience in the place really calmed me down. The early clientele all seemed to be enjoying the meals and drinks on offer, including a fellow driver who I got talking to while his breakfast was prepared by the busy staff. I’d heard good things about this place, and now I know why. The team on duty turned a distressing experience into something that I’ll remember with pleasure. My heartfelt thanks, and I certainly plan to go back.

Went today with my 11 year old daughter. Staff were so helpful and personable. Food really good too. Daughter couldn’t eat all hers and staff gave her a little box to take it home in. Love the decor and atmosphere. I can’t believe we haven’t been before. We take both children and husband next time.

HOW MUCH!! We popped in as we are working locally and it looked nice. We ordered a sausage sandwich and a sausage & bacon bap. £15.00+ 2 average sized sausages in each item, and only 1 small piece of bacon in the bap😡 Then I asked for 2 cans of coke and presented a five pound note. The girl looked at me as if she had never seen cash before. When I stood there and she said nothing I had to ask if I had given her the right money, to which she replied "yes". £2.50 a can!!!! Ludicrous. You only get 2 stars because the sausages were good quality.
