My child had lessons and was taught in a group. Some weeks the lessons didn't take place and on some occasions my child told me that the focus of the half hour had been entirely on other students. No grading was ever achieved and lessons took place over 3 years. In comparison we now use a different tutor who teaches on a one to one basis and after only a few lessons is talking about entering my child for grading. The difference in cost is less than £10 a month. I would not recommend T&W music if your child is serious about learning to play an instrument.
