Well, here's the scoop on the BBQ in England. Hold onto your knickers, folks, because this ain't no joke. After four years of surviving on bland, uninspiring English grub, I feel like I've lassoed the chuck wagon of my dreams. I feel like a man lost in the desert who's just spotted an oasis. I had heard whispers of this magical BBQ joint, but I was expecting it to be decent... by English standards, you know? But, bloomin' heck, my tastebuds were taken on a wild bull ride! We sampled all the meaty treats 'cept the chicken. The brisket was perfect—soft, juicy, with a crispy and tasty bark. The pork and beef ribs were so tender, they practically melted away, like a snowman in the Chihuahuan Desert. The "Texas hot links" added a zingy little kick. They weren't exactly the Texan links of my past, but I was gobbling them up like a cow to water. Mac and cheese? Check. Jalapeno poppers? Check. Plain sliced bread on the side? Check. And the coleslaw! Not a mayo-drenched soup like West Texas, but crunchy, tangy, and downright delightful. The pickles? Oh, the pickles. A dill-icious dream I've been yearning for these past four years. England, why can't you nail a decent dill pickle? Luckily, this joint has got it sorted. I even nabbed a few for the road. Now, why should you heed my saucy tale? I mean, I'm just some bloke tapping away a review on Google. But I've done my time in Texas for a decade and, while I don't fancy the Lone Star State much, I do fancy its BBQ. I'm a bit of a smoke enthusiast myself, regularly soaking anything form pineapples to frozen pizzas in the perfume of the magical mesquite. So, I reckon I have some BBQ street cred. Next time you find yourself wandering around London, do yourself a solid and mosey on down to Joe's. And don't forget to tip your hat to the vintage left-hand drive Chevy parked out front. It's all part of the experience!

i have had the pleasure of eating at several revered bbq restaurants on my travels in texas but i will say that the meats here, considering the challenges of repeating the experience in london, were good. but we did not really apreciate some of the prices on the menu being higher than advertised on the sign by the door. would also like to have seen some good american beers on offer such as lone star or shiner bock.
