(Translated by Google) The site stated that there would be live music, but that was unknown to the owner. The food was delicious. From the outside it looked cozier than inside. (Original) Op de site stond dat er live muziek zou zijn, maar dat was onbekend bij de eigenaar. Het eten was lekker. Vanaf de buitenkant zag het er gezelliger uit dan binnen.

What a friendly and delicious visit to a very comfy pub during our hike. If we had to make a tiny change, we would have preferred the fries on a separate plate so there is more space to cut the steak and they won’t be soaked with the meat juice. But everything including the fries was very good. And we can only recommend to time your hiking lunch break with this pub.

A nice, friendly village pub. Food is amazing both in quality & value. Good choice of ales, cider and wines. Seems to be a good focal point for the village and surrounding area. A recent revisit. Still a very friendly and welcoming pub both sides of the bar !! A great menu for food, from bar snacks to a full blown meal. Food is still amazing. They have a regular change of guest real ales. Have visited again, this time lunchtime with my sister. Parking was a little difficult, but the food ale and prices made up for it. Barmaid very helpful, attentive but not pushy. Must visit again soon.
