My boyfriend and I spontaneously extended our holiday by an extra day and needed a place to stay last minute. My boyfriend found this pub and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff and owners are absolutely lovely. The pub is currently under renovation so don’t let that put you off, the work they have done is absolutely wonderful. Breakfast the next morning was superb and tasty. Next time I’m in the area will definitely be popping in again. Thank you

As we passing by we thought of a bit of lunch .. first impression the pub is quint ... staff helpful... ordered some food and drinks .. arrived quickly I had chilly concarne it was ok ...my partner had a roast turkey she left half of it as it was so bland and the gravy was not as expected even the parsnip (as it was only one) was so tough couldn't cut it with a knife... verdict...we will drive by next time
