Hi, just back from my first solo recall training session after my 121 with Ollie yesterday. Cannot recommend enough!! My confidence is back and dealing with my lovely springador’ recall is something I no longer dread as I can really see that we’ll get there. Ollie has a genuine love for dogs and that shone through in my session with him. He is very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of additional tips and ideas. Thanks Ollie

I booked a 1 2 1 training session with Ollie for my 2 year old lab. Ollie was great with Paddy and getting him to walk nicely on the lead and not react to other dogs. He gave such helpful tips and was the best training session I have experienced, also giving me more confidence. I will definitely be booking more training sessions.

Olly our trainer was so good with our Viszla Dexter who can be very difficult and playful as the Viszla breed are. Within half an hour Olly literally had him walking to heel, obedient bit still allowed play when told to. Excellent first session will be booking more. Highly recommended.

The training that was provided for our dog during his VIP boarding training was absolutely outstanding. The changes and improvements achieved in such a short space of time is unbelievable. The care given to our dog during his stay was also amazing and we were kept updated at every stage with fantastic videos and the staff were there to answer any questions and always got back to us so fast. We couldn't be happier we decided to do this. Forever grateful, thankyou!! Continued: and we have begun 121 training with Ollie now we are working on things with our dog back home and he was fantastic! So helpful and really achieved results so fast. He also bonded so well with our dog and took the time to get to know him. Can't wait to continue with training!

I was really anxious about sending my 10 month old lab pup Willow away for a month, but she was too strong for me on walks and taking over as alpha dog at home. She has come home with respect for her older sister, playing but not biting her, responding to commands, no excessive jumping up, but has retained her cheekiness. Special thanks to Conan who she genuinely loved and Nessa in admin who got me through the month with calls and messages. I would definitely recommend The Dog Guy.

Very happy with service from the Dog Guy. Woody has shown a marked improvement in his reactive behaviours. We were especially impressed with Oli and the follow up session. Oli corrected a few of the things we’d been doing incorrectly (like not putting the lead on properly!) Woody is happy. We are happy. Thanks Oli!

We dropped our pup Reggie there for a 4 week residential training class in April 2023. He was displaying usual puppy behaviours but we struggled with crate training and with busy schedules didn't feel like we were giving him the right training. It was definitely not an easy decision to make putting him into a residential training setting as we thought it may be overkill for a young pup - but in the end after talking to the team at the dog guy we believed we were making the right choice. We are so delighted that we decided to send him. During his stay the team were fantastic. Getting a weekly update seeing how he was doing gave us confidence while he was away. The facility there was great and when we turned up to pick him up it was great to see lots of happy dogs, and meet a team of people that truly loved animals. Reggie loved the team there and when we picked him up he looked incredibly well looked after. The handover was really good as well - the trainer gave us all the time we needed to understand what we needed to do at home with him and how to continue with his training. In terms of Reggie's progression - he is a completely different dog now. He has made massive improvements in his training and we feel like we can cope much better with him at home and out and about. He is by no means the finished product, but we are so much more confident and have the peace of mind that the decision we made was best for him and for us as well. I couldn't recommend the the dog guy more!

My Staffy x XL Bully puppy was getting very nippy with me during playtime and I was getting quite nervous. The Dog Guy was great and Oli came out within 24 hours. I have already seen such an improvement in my puppy and will definitely do a 1-2-1 again
