I'm thankful for the excellent care that my family have received at the Surgery over the past 12 years but have not taken the time to write a review until now! Our interactions with the Nursing team and the Doctors, especially for clinically urgent on the day help, has always been excellent. The Surgery, via the receptionists, are very responsive to a request for on the day or routine help and the Doctors have always listened and always cared. I trust the Surgery with my family's health and feel grateful that we have such a sterling service in our village.

They send inappropriate text messages detailing devastatingly unexpected news. This is appalling care and should never happen. News of this nature and impact should at least warrant a telephone call. There has previously been several errors of judgement made by sending text messages which leaves no opportunity for discussion and leads to treatment decisions being made without input and on incorrect and incomplete information relayed by reception. They prefer to follow Oxfordshire guidelines over NICE. They are not open to discussion or working with you. Shortcuts are taken in updating records by uploading scans of corrections instead of actually correcting them. There are some lovely practice nurses at the surgery and 1 or 2 lovely doctors remain. They do not take repeat prescriptions over the phone and you cannot order online for children and they have no plans to change this. Medication is only given a month at a time so this means multiple trips each month to drop in prescriptions, then return to collect. When you do return it’s not always ready as it now takes 5 working days and if it’s out of stock or there is a supply issue they won’t make a courtesy call to let you know. The automated message for the surgery before you can talk to a person is frustratingly long.

The doctor's who treated me couldn't have been more helpful and professional, with my recent concerns. Everyone from the reception team to the practice nurses and the GPs made me feel better. Thank you.

I am impressed with how the surgery has managed to maintain an excellent service to me and my family in both acute and non-acute setting throughout the pandemic and now in the post pandemic period. The staff clearly care about their patients, and I can highly recommend this practice to anyone in this area.

I always get good access to the doctor, with the call back option working well. They pay attention to detail and I can recommend their care.

The staff at this surgery are the best I’ve experienced in the different surgeries I’ve been registered at. They respond quickly, listen and make me feel comfortable when making/attending appointments. They have taken my fears away and I feel I can always ask for help when needed. I have recommended them to all my local friends.

They arranged an appointment for me, then while I was arranging another appointment they told me to register at another GP because my address was too far away. How can my location be simultaneously a problem and not a problem?
