I'm currently living in a non-ensuite gold room for context. The only benefits of living here is that the room is spacious and that you're right next to the university of Manchester. Everything else though is awful. - There isn't any bike storage so good luck if you need one of those if you have any kind of placement on your course like myself. - The reception isn't open late so you can't collect your parcels anytime you need. I work monday to friday so it ends up being nearly impossible for me to collect anything from reception. - The building has only 1 hoover to share between the whole accommodation. So good luck cleaning. - The kitchen is WAY too small for 3 people to share with no windows, inadequate storage, hardly any ventilation. - The "on-site gym" is literally a tiny room with a treadmill in it. - The laundry facilities use circuit and there is only 3 washing machines and dryers for the whole accommodation (£3.40/wash and £1.40 for the dryer everytime). - Myself can't get any phone reception in my room (With EE). - The room doesn't have ANY openable window, just the door to the balcony. Which can make the room stuffy and not very well ventilated. Balcony also connects to other bedrooms so lacks security. - No ethernet connection for those that like to play games or have good internet (they told me the rooms did before I moved in). - They advertise the WiFi as fast with 250mbps however realistically you'll never get anywhere near that. Maybe at like 3am. It is also with glide so forget playing with a nintendo switch while you're there. - Dependent on the person to whether this is a negative but the flat isn't very sociable. I don't really know a single other person living here. - I've not had any problems with this specifically but I'm sure the accommodation experiences mice/rat problems (not surprising considering the conditions). Overall, I would NOT recommend to anyone to live here. It has been such a negative experience being here and I am only counting down the days until I can move out.

Currently staying here and all I’m dealing with is issues, and the staff are unhelpful to sort them. Moved in and the ceiling was leaking majorly onto my bed every time it rained, this was an issue that I had to chase up staff about for over a month until it was finally “rectified”. (Shouldn’t have even been moved in if they were aware of this issue beforehand.) I was given a partial refund for this but it didn’t even cover 2 weeks rent for a major issue that lasted over a month??? Our shower leaked for the first two months as it needed a new seal and whilst I kept saying this to the receptionist and staff it again took over a month to be rectified, even still our shower door doesn’t shut properly by itself. Our hot water is constantly cutting out leaving us unable to shower, an issue which is still to be sorted although I’ve been complaining for weeks about it. And then also our front door lock wouldn’t work for over a week, leaving us unable to lock the flat and feeling very unsafe for a while. Overall it’s not been a pleasant experience and continues to not be too, as I am still living here I hope I am not treated different for writing a review but this is something I had to speak out about as this is unacceptable from a landlord or private accommodation company. On top of this we now have an issue where we have no hot water at all after 4pm, this is something that we’ve been reporting for about a month but it still hasn’t been fixed. (We were told we would have to try and just use less hot water which isn’t a fix) I’ve emailed the we listen email below so hopefully I get a reply.

Full of mice and unhelpful and unreceptive staff. I called the emergency helpline one Saturday night because a mouse was in my room and they said they would help but when on Wednesday I asked the reception they said they had no knowledge and therefore no pest control had come. Tried to complain and was passed from one member of staff to another and when I was 'speaking to head office', it was actually just my building receptionist.
