I attended my make-up trial with Ema in preparation for my wedding, and OH MY! Ema is an absolute gem: clearly incredibly knowledgeable about the ins and outs of beauty therapy/make-up, but also so very sweet, friendly and a consummate professional. I'm Black and she matched my skin tone perfectly. She also spoke with so much experience about doing make-up for a variety of ethnicities, which was very reassuring and testament to her general skill. Her at home studio is utterly gorgeous (and smells beautiful too!) and she put me and my bridal party completely at ease. The decadent cream tea in stunning crockery was the icing on the cake. I can not praise Ema highly enough. From the hair and make up trial to the wedding day, Ema was friendly, highly professional, caring and extremely talented. Ema even took my birdcage veil and adjusted it for me before the big day. She provided a schedule and tips and input before the day which was really helpful. Ema arrived on time (5.45am!!) and was an absolute star working on 5 bridesmaids, flower girl and me! Ema even helped me get into my dress, shoes and helped with the final reveal. After attending a wedding fayre at Audley's Wood where I met and chatted with Ema, I was hooked and quickly messaged her to chat more about her services. From the get go, she was friendly, knowledgeable, available and it was clear she was great at what she does. I booked Ema with no hesitation to take care of hair and make up for my wedding for me and 5 bridesmaid! I did a trial with Ema and it was absolutely brilliant... Ema had arranged afternoon tea for me and my 2 friends that also attended and did a fab job!! Nothing was too much trouble! My friends car actually wouldn't start upon leaving and Ema was out in the rain trying to help us jump start her car!! Ema has made me feel relaxed for my wedding day and I can't wait!! Thank you Ema, you are fantastic and I couldn't recommend you enough! Update: Ema left me speechless on my wedding day!! She went above and beyond.. I was truly blown away. I have the same make up and hair everyday so I was a little nervous to see the finished result but I was so happy and comfortable with the work Ema did. I want to do it all over again!!
