Dr El-Amir and the team were fantastic in diagnosing the cause of the issue being a side effect of other medication and as such I have been able to alter my treatment plan and get back to work. After, visiting the practise Dr Ahmed El-Amir made me feel straight at ease, he is a professional and extremely polite doctor. After discussing and acting upon treatment plans and some procedures, the situation is much much better and I’m very happy with the results ! The procedures was smooth and painless. I had an appointment with Mr El-Amir in early December 2022, and the purpose was to resolve a long-standing eye problem concerning a stye and some level of blepharitis. This is a specialist who is visibly extremely attentive to his patients’ needs. The various methods of treatment available were explained very thoroughly and professionally, and a tailored antibiotics/cream/eye drops combination was prescribed. At no point did I feel hurried in explaining my issues and concerns in a face-to-face setting. This was refreshing and a welcome change in an era where telephone appointments and video calls are commonplace. My own issue has not recurred in the month following the end of the three months treatment cycle but I would not hesitate to contact this consultant again if I do experience any similar eye-related problems in the future. Mr El-Amir is very friendly in person but more importantly clearly very knowledgeable in his chosen field. The appointment booking experience was also very well-organised and professional through Laura. Consistently positive things to say in terms of the whole experience. Highly recommended.

After seeing Mr EL-Amir I am extremely pleased with my cataract surgery and lens replacement. Mr EL-Amir was friendly and explained everything along the way including treating and advising on my very early onset of glaucoma. When I needed to get in touch with questions I spoke with Laura his assistant who was so very helpful. Mr EL-Amir did not rush and put me at ease with his expertise and friendly manner. The surgery itself was painless and so professional in all aspects. All in all I was very impressed with his expertise and knowledge and would have no hesitation in recommending him.
