  I hereby leave my review about my experience with trichologist Edward and his staff. I was diagnosed with alopecia which, as a consequence, inflames the scalp. Stevens, offered me a natural treatment that after two weeks, I saw radical results. Stevens was very honest and super professional. He is very knowledgeable. Stevens´ assistant, Lilli is a boon and valuable asset to any business as she understands about the subject and provides 7 premier customer service.   Edward and his team do an amazing job. I've been coming to his practice for over 6 years now for scalp treatment, and cannot speak highly enough of the service he provides, and my scalp feels so much better for it. He treats all of his clients with such warmth and dedication. This is the level of care that all clinics should aspire to. Lovely coffee epitomises what his clients mean to him.

  Very poor service I would avoid. I went with a few concerns. The salon is quite dark, old and dingy and there is more than one clinic there – I doubt Dr Stevens has been there for 60 years as the website says. Dr Stevens did a superficial look at my scalp. He noticed my hair was breaking but didn’t say why and also, he said that turning grey can be normal (even though I am in my thirties and was concerned this wasn’t the case for me). I was just sold an expensive cream and sent on my way. In fact, he said that a lot of people come in his salon with the same issues and he is “bored’’ (direct quote) of giving the same advice – generic advice as you will see later. The one thing he did recommend was to get a dry haircut (please keep this in mind for later). When I went to a natural hair salon for said dry haircut, they immediately said that my hair may be breaking because of anaemia and grey hair may be because of lack of B12 and B Complex – something a supposedly trained trichologist like Dr. Stevens completely missed. I vaguely remember him saying get a blood test (also keep this in mind for later) but no mention of anaemia or lack of vitamins – he just said greying was normal. I got a blood test from my GP (which confirmed anaemia and lack of vitamins). But during my two follow up visits there was no enquiring on whether I had done the blood test, no mention of what my blood test results were, no emphasis on the importance of the blood test (otherwise I would’ve volunteered the info). In fact the blood test was never mentioned again. I on my own decided to further get a hair test kit - I tried to contact his assistant Joy to get a hair test kit to investigate further– she as usual ignored my email. At this point I was fed up and washed my hands of this clinic. You’re better off going to the Belgravia Clinic, Adonia Medical Clinic or Phillip Kingsley for hair issues– more expensive may be but better quality than this below standard clinic. I emailed the clinic to try and get my refund back, but all he was said that he gave me the right advice and only then started to emphasis the importance of the blood test even though like I mentioned earlier there was no enquiring on whether I had done the blood test, no mention of what my blood test results were and the blood test was never mentioned again. He also said that ‘’you clearly ignored my advice and went to a hairdresser who told you something that you feel is better advice that mine.’’ (Direct quote) even though he - as you remember above - told me to go to get a dry hair cut (so he doesn’t remember his own advice). His blanket response to everything is ‘I told you get a blood test’ the same blood test he doesn’t care to follow up about or find out what the results were.

  I visited the clinic & spoke with Mr Stevens about my hair condition, having seen him previously. His advice was very practical and honest, and was not a sales pitch! He made me look at my hair holistically & left me feeling confident that my youthful looks can be maintained! Many thanks!

  Asked to rebook an appointment never heard from them again despite me calling, texting and emailing. Took my custom elsewhere and have got amazing results with my hair. Would not recommend this clinic at all. - I have the correct number as I spoke to you and I have proof of the email trail and no responses so Please don’t lie to your customers it’s not a good look. Anyway as I said I took my customer elsewhere.

  I had an extremely itchy scalp for a whole year, went to my doctors, tried several different serums and shampoos nothing worked. I came here, I was advised on what to do within the first 5 minutes and that evening I had no itchy scalp. It has now been 2 weeks+ I still have no itchy scalp. I would advise anyone going through anything related to scalp, do not waste your time with doctors - go with someone that does this every day, as all it took was a few moments of inspection for them to know the exact problem. Thank you, highly recommend this clinic.

  I visited the clinic in August having found my scalp problem has become so much worse in the months leading up to it. I can’t believe how my skin was transformed from that day onwards and how much better I feel knowing I am able to get support and the right products for future flare ups and issues.
