We recently had dinner and did not make a booking so we appreciate the team making space for us. The venue is nice and the team were friendly. The food was average as were the cocktails, not bad just not worth going back.

What a fantastic place. Beautiful decor, absolutely amazing staff (thank you so much Daid for the amazing recommendations … that Korean glazed chicken and rum baba were exquisite!). In an area crammed with options, I’m so glad I came here.

We eat in Ivory cafes quite a lot, its a good staple... the food is awesome, you will see from the pics a children's burger, its impressive. Service is generally very good, only two minor things... we told the yellow floral matradee we had a birthday and they normally do a birthday candle, this didn't happen so missed the birthday vibe. Also, this is a traditional English restaurant, who serves the bread plate on the right hand side, especially in the Ivy... Apart from that, it was great, really enjoyed and food is always great...

The person at the entrance was a bit abrupt, she didn't even greet me and straightaway asked if I had a booking which didn't feel very welcoming. I did have a booking by the way. The food options can be improved for the brunch menu. Nothing really tickled our fancy and sometimes it would be good to have something plain like scrambled eggs but there was nothing like that. The Staff were nice but I also wish the waiters had given us recommendations like we ordered a dish that was a much bigger portion than we expected so it would have been good to know before. We also didn't get any salt and pepper or sauces for chips. In an upmarket restaurant like the Ivy I think it should be expected.. it would also be a nice touch to offer some complementary olives or bread when people arrive.. Also I ordered a macchiato and got an espresso.. but ok. The toilets weren't clean either :/
