Attended a gig. Ages spent in the small queue due to the overzealous door person? Who rebelled in the job by frisking everyone who came through the door. He refrained from touching my partner after I demanded a female be present - who never turned up, so he begrudgingly let her go in unchallenged - know your rights ladies - no hired male door attendant has the right to bodily search you! It got worse, an underground soulless bunker greeted us! Good sound system, shame their onstage lighting is utterly devoid of a competent engineer! The gig was for the most part in darkness on 3 band members! Was billed as ending at 11pm, at 10:33 a bully of an employee with a hitler complex decided that he wanted everyone out. And was beyond vocal about it! We ended up by the door to be told by mr frisker that we had to drink downstairs..? Umm, communication between staff was evidently nonexistent - same mini hitler came upstairs demanding we give him the plastic glasses whether we’d finished our drinks or not! Very vocal by this time… Bloody awful experience! Will not be returning! Ending On a plus note, the toilets were nice? Venue and staff bloody awful!

Nice to go to a new venue . Sound was Good but staff were so grumpy from the door man to the bar . . Gig finished at 10.15 and they wanted us out immediately even though we were still drinking their expensive pints . The curfew was 11 so they just wanted to go home early.

Overly firm and handsy security completely ruins this place, great location but I was elbowed in the back by a guy who looks like Tim Healy who was too moody to say ‘excuse me’ - made to throw away a packet of chewing gums that had 1 gum in as well as it’s ‘not allowed in’ completely pathetic, I love attending music venues across London but I will never return here. Security asked everyone to leave the second the gig ended as well, extremely strange. If they get a new security firm in maybe this place might be worth attending although the drink prices are extortionate.

Great venue, quite firm security and cerfews, but nothing outrageous. It's a lovely space with high quality facilities and a good, fast moving bar.
