Nice proper pub with good beer, decent food and a distinct lack of children....always a bonus in an adult environment. I would pay extra to go to a pub with no children allowed, not because I dislike children, just because a pub used to be the last bastion of adult only refuge.

Great place for food or a pint by the river. Friendly staff tables and chairs outside overlooking the river. Slightly spoiled by Attention seeking pond life swearing outside, if you carnt take you drink, don't inflict yourself on decent people. Food & drinks: Good selection and prices.
