I recently visited the restaurant and it was a terrible experience. The server Wiktoria with a W who needs to see White skin was extremely racist and very unprofessional. This kind of server should not be acceptable in any society, as it would go against our values of equality and inclusion. Discrimination based on skin colour, race, or ethnicity is not tolerated and should not be tolerated in any dining establishment or any establishment as matter of fact. It was an uncomfortable experience and I will not be returning there ever again. Food was pretty good though not going to lie.

Great pub with a lovely atmosphere and wonderful food. I was visiting Edinburgh on my own and this place was so welcoming I didn't feel out of place. I had the Moving Munros burger which was one of the best vegan burgers I have ever had.

We chose the daily special which was Scottish, simple and delicious. Just like beer and whiskey. Efficient service (without too much waiting) and attentive. From 9:30 p.m. (I think?) there was music, a little loud at first (the place is not very big). But hey, it's also a pub and you quickly get used to the atmosphere. This is also what makes the charm of the place. I recommend for evening walkers who have not reserved a table and who have stayed at French time...
