Absolutely the best in the business! I went to their shop thinking how come every rating on this business is a 5 star. But now I know! Elliott was absolutely brilliant in how he approached the ring and was attentive to my requirements. The ring was delivered on time and my fiancé absolutely loves it. I highly recommend The Sapphire Shop, the whole experience was great and easy and I can’t wait to have another piece made! After an unpleasant experience at another Hatton Garden jewellers, Vincent immediately made me feel comfortable, reassured and brought the joy back into selecting a sapphire. Vincent was not only patient but took time to explain what made a good sapphire and I felt well informed in choosing an amazing stone. He went through the design process and various options until I was 100% happy. There was no pushy sale tactics, Sonya was super friendly and helpful - the entire ring ‘journey’ was excellent. Vincent’s passion for his craft shone through in the beautiful ring he created for me. Thank you so much and can’t wait to bring the next project to you!

My partner and I found Vincent at The Sapphire Shop by googling Sapphire Shops in Hatton Gardens and then we turned up to discover this amazing workshop! We loved the atmosphere immediately but we went and did our due diligence for several hours, inquiring at other shops up and down Hatton Gardens, before we returned to Vincent at the end of the day. We knew the design we wanted and he showed us several sapphires so we could choose the one we liked the most. The design is quite intricate and we are blown away by the skill with which he executed such detail. It is perfect. It is the loveliest ring I have ever owned and my partner and I could not be happier. Highly recommended!

Horrible level of service and disrespectful, entitled behaviour from 'Sonya'. I travelled all the way over to this shop for a 2:00pm appointment with 'Sonya'. Although I arrived a little late, Sonya told me to wait, that she was wrapping up with someone. No apology, just a very assertive statement that I have to wait. She kept me waiting until 2:35 when I asked her colleague what was going on. At least he understood that this is not acceptable. After he alarmed her, she came out. With no apology she told me that, 'look I'm just wrapping up, I'll be with you in a second - is that ok with you?' In return I asked her, 'do *you* think this is acceptable?' She retorted with 'well honestly it will only be a second more - is that ok?' She looked at me and then realised that it was *not ok* based on my body language. Sonya then decided that she was unlikely to get the sale with me based on the interaction, and then proceeded to tell me with a condescending tone, 'look... I can see this isn't going to work' and then opened the door to invite me to leave. No apology, just entitled disrespectful behaviour and an enormous waste of time. With my travel time 3 hours wasted. Thankfully my trip was not totally in vain since I was already in the diamond district, I walked in to a few other shops who respectfully made time for me and were able to quote me the custom ring I am looking for.

The most personalised and professional ring service I've come across. We came to The Sapphire Shop when we were looking for an engagement ring. My needs were specific and I wanted a sustainable ring that was a particular design. We had seen a few other shops but nothing was like The Sapphire Shop. From the moment we entered the shop, we knew this was the right choice. We were met by Sonya who walked through our options. Friendly, fun and extremely knowledgeable, she helped us narrow our options and presented some gems of which might be suited to our needs. The gems were beautiful and she took extreme care to source gems that reflected our needs and design. Sonya took extreme care to cater to our ideas and make the impossible, possible! She was a delight to speak to throughout the whole process and she really helped to distill our ideas. It almost felt like we were speaking to a friend rather than a sales person. She gave sound advice that was always in our interest, and never pushed us to purchase. We were completely at ease and comfortable with the team from the get go. Elliott was the ring maker who provided invaluable knowledge on design. He created the ring over a series of weeks. It was stunning and completely surpassed our expectations. He was knowledgable, very easy to speak to and has amazing skill. When we collected the ring, Simon, a super friendly and genuine ringmaker unveiled the ring. He was again extremely helpful, giving us additional advice, help and assistance with some other enquiries we had. He went beyond the expected and was incredibly kind. We are very thankful! Overall I'd recommend The Sapphire Shop without a doubt. It's been an incredible journey from start to finish, creating a ring that feels personal to us, and has been crafted to our needs. I really recommend anyone wanting a ring to visit this shop. Not only is their craftsmanship incredible, but their customer service is too. I'll definitely be back!

I went here by chance really while looking for a ring in Hatton Garden - a bit like a suit it pays to know the details before you go in but if you don't then having a flexible and sensitive guide such as Elliott, who I spoke to, makes all the difference - they provided an excellent range of stones and settings, from which I was able to make "the one". It (yellow sapphire with diamond halo) came out streets ahead of the other store I was consulting with. She said yes! It has since received a LOT of really nice comments. A bit of luck, and a lot of help from these guys - highly recommend!
