I saw Mr Jacques at Shirley Oaks Hospital last week. He is refreshingly warm, human, open and clear in all his communications. He even treated me on the spot for an unexpected nosebleed during my appointment which was actually about a tongue issue following anaesthesia for bunion surgery. Both my husband and I are struck by this interaction with a Consultant who greets you as an equal and simply provides his expertise to help you. I can’t overstate how pleasing it was to deal with him.
