The meals we got were really nice and tasted like an old English chippy, if yournin the area call and fancy chippy call here UPDATED : 2nd visit . Apon ordering my food, the owner noticed i was watching the till, looking at the menu prices and I admit I was struggling financially that day . I then apologised to the owner, stating I only had 12 pounds in my account and needed to watch the price. To my astonishment, the owner then turned and asked who i was ordering for (myself partner and 5 children) . And said to me " stop looking at the prices and order what you need " wow I was so happy and appreciated and ordered the minimalist I could think of as I didn't want to seem cheeky or just take his generosity, then order the full menu so to speak After chating away, he also then offered the young children some drinks. If you're in the area, please call here, I'm sure you won't be disappointed 🙂 . I'm going to make this my new local Thank you very much to the owner There was plenty to go around
