My partner recently visited this shop this past week. He discovered an unfortunate doll being sold referred to as a golliwog. For those who are unaware of these items, this doll depicts a racist point of view and celebrates the time of black face and slavery. When he asked why they were being sold, the manager stated, its what the owner wants sold in their shop. I find it sad that in 2022, institutional racism is still supported by individual shop and business owners. I hope the staff and the owner take the time to educate themselves on the significance of such a derogatory image. Do better, be better, and educate yourselves.

A shop that sells racist items. For shame on the owner. Don’t worry though it’s all over tiktok right now. Karma.

Has a good candy rock selection, but in the nicest way possible it's a typical 'tat' seaside shop. Toys worth less than a quid selling for a fiver etc. Brands you've never heard of etc. Sells some personalised goods (headbands with names on, adventure books with kids names in etc) Ok place for kids to spend their holiday money.
