As a young female I’m always wary of having to take my car to any garage, but these guys were so friendly and professional, they took the time to explain to me what the problem was, I had to leave my car with them and the communication over what was being done was excellent, and the cost was extremely fair. I fully trust them and will be coming back, I definitely recommend them! The only thing I would say is in the past when I have rung the number on google I haven’t been able to get through, but they were very polite and receptive when I just turned up.

I am a person who never add reviews but in this case I really want to add my review for the wonderful service. My car was totally dead and wouldn’t start. I desperately needed help and I called so many garages but everybody had their reason to avoid come check my car. That is when I came across Tokyo garage in Google and gave a call. David understood my situation and came immediately for help. He took all the effort to jumpstart my car to move to his garage for repair. I am really impressed by his service and dedication in his work. I really appreciate this wonderful person. The service is worthy cost wise too Great service..highly recommend…. I had my car towed to the garage for full service and MOT and also to diagnose and fix a red engine problem warning on the dashboard. They fit me in right away and it was a friendly and helpful prompt service for which I am grateful. 3 stars for 2 reasons. First - quite pricey. Judge for yourself. Total bill 405 GBP. Breakdown - £180 - full service and change of spark plugs. £50 - MOT £35 - change of front and back windshield wipers. £130 - changed 2 tyres @ £65 each Second reason - did not diagnose the fault correctly. The spark plugs were a presumed problem. They could not find any other issue. Now 3 weeks later my car is down with the same problem. I’m having to consider scrapping it now after spending so much on it as I don’t know how much more it will cost to fix now. So go for them for urgent routine service-mot if price is not an issue for you…

I’ve just brought my Suzuki Swift here to have an inspection as I’ve just bought the car from a dealership elsewhere and had heard some unnerving noises coming from it. David and Jacob did a thorough check of the vehicle and have found that there are multiple issues with it - I’ve now written to the dealership requesting a full refund. As a woman we do fear being ‘ripped off’ or taken advantage of when dealing with garages and/or dealerships but I felt completely confident in David and Jacob and am relieved I’m not going crazy and imagining noises from the car and that there are actual real problems! Will use this garage again in future for the next car that I purchase! Service: Vehicle Inspection

Found Tokyo1 garage by looking at garages open on Sunday as I had an emergency situation with my car. David went above and beyond to find the issue and the right part for my car, going personally to collect it because he was worried they wouldn’t understand what he needed over the phone, causing delays on the repair. He then carried out the job and waited for me to finish work and collect my car even though it was outside of his trading hours. He also rang me the next day to check if I was happy with the car. Reasonably priced and knowledgeable, David and Tokyo1 will be my choice for any future issues or MOTs for my car. Would recommend to anyone looking for reliable service.
