May I just say that your school is all for “enrichment” and helping kids discover what kind of clubs they’d like to take part in but doesn’t help anyone with any kind of mental health. Your school has a whole building to “help” students who have mental health problems but teachers still have no clue how to handle kids who are struggling with it. I’m pretty sure your staff members need a whole lesson on mental health because they’re lacking a lot. Also, why are you making students feel dumb if they don’t contribute enough in school? You’re literally putting students on a report that a teacher has to sign to make sure you’re contributing enough and I mean many students lack confidence so you can’t just put them on a report because they struggle to put their hand up and share their ideas. It’s a bad idea if I’m being honest. Please stop making all these groups and picking out students from forms when you think they’re lacking in contributing or something dumb like that then making groups for them because if anything it makes them feel worse as none of what the teachers do or say help in those stupid groups you make. If you really want to help students, help the ones in need of support with their mental health.

They do not take mental health into consideration at all. They care about 100% attendance, and tried to bribe my daughter with chocolate to come in, and told her she was lying when talking of home. If you have anxiety or home problems, you will suffer here.

Horrendous school. Do not send your daughter here. Mental health is not in any of the teachers concerns. The school in general just has so much negative energy. They expect you to be rich and have a computer and a printer and everything. This is unfair for parents and carers with lower wages. Teachers do not believe students whatsoever and think everything is an excuse even notes from parents. Honestly don’t understand how ofsted gave the school an outstanding. This school deserves to be shut down. It has caused my daughter to have anxiety and dark thoughts and to do dark things. Again, I DONT RECOMMEND!!!

Although all the old reviews talk about the teachers in a bad way, it is only because of what they think of them. I yesterday had a chat with the headteacher, because I was suffering from anxiety and she said she had anxiety to for a while as people of a different race were rude to each other And she pulled them apart. A bunch of kids called her racist for this, but they were misunderstood. School is amazing! Suggest it a ton.

Having attended the recent open day/evening, I would never under any circumstances send my daughter here. I didn't get any feeling that the leadership team had a clue what they were doing and it seems like its a school still trying to prep girls for support work, not bridge the gap for woman in the workplace. PE is mostly Dance! I am sorry, not sport!!! Science teachers mostly didn't have a clue! It is chalk and cheese compared to Coombe which is only a few miles away. This school needs a complete makeover for the top down.
