Tom was recommended by a friend who was very pleased with the outcome of his surgery that Tom had performed. As the result of an old skiing injury, my shoulder function had deteriorated and was severely inhibiting my daily life and active hobbies which included Pilates, hiking, swimming and cycling. Following careful investigations Tom proposed a full joint replacement as the appropriate course of action. He performed a reverse shoulder replacement in July 2020 which has been entirely successful. The post-operative protocol he provided meant I was able to undertake an effective course of rehabilitation in conjunction with my Physiotherapist and six months on the improvement in the shoulder’s function and range has been dramatic. Tom’s expert skill and knowledge is extensive and he understood completely the impact of not being able to do the things I enjoy. Throughout the entire process his approach was open, informative and inclusive; any questions or concerns were thoroughly answered and dealt with providing me with complete confidence in him. I also have a very neat and subtle scar, very important for us girls in the summer! Top Man, 5 stars aren’t enough.

Tom and his staff were exceptionally helpful.. I am extremely grateful to them for making an extremely difficult situation a lot easier and expediting what would have normally been an extremely long process. My pectoral tear was identified quickly despite other misdiagnosis from other 'specialists'. I was operated on promptly and efficiently, thanks to his intervention I am now on the road to recovery! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Extreme thanks to your and your team Tom!

Mr Tom Lawrence recently completed an AC reconstruction after a heavy fall had dislocated my shoulder and had badly torn the ligaments. I cannot express how professional and reassuring Mr Lawrence was to me, explaining in detail the injury and the proposed surgery to reconstruct the shoulder. After successful surgery I am now on the road to full recovery and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mr Lawrence to anyone with shoulder problems.

I saw Mr Lawrence when I broke my elbow in June 2017 He had a great calm, positive & reassuring manor . As a pilates instructor I have a good knowledge of anatomy & obviously being fit & healthy is integral to my job. When I broke my right elbow (literally into many pieces) I was concerned about regaining range of movement & strength. I had a client who’d had a wonderful result from Mr Lawrence for a frozen shoulder, so I contacted him & got an appointment quickly. Mr Lawrence came up With a clear plan of what treatment was needed & operated to fix my elbow with a metal plate & pins. After a week I could feel some strength returning & by 3 weeks I could do most things with my arm. 6 months after the break I had full extension & flexion of my elbow & full strength. I was concerned as I’d read that some people are never able to straighten their elbow again, but I can fully straighten mine so I’m delighted. It hasn’t effected my ability to do my job and I’ve been skiing, zip wiring, fencing & doing Archery since.
