I recently had a damp survey and damp proofing works carried out by Toner. From start to finish they have been perfect. Throughout the process they were always bang on time and communicated with me regularly. When I received the results of my survey they answered all of my questions right away (and there were lots!). When the work started the guys were excellent, they arrived bang on time every morning and at the end of the day the whole property was left neat as a pin. Any time I had a query they sorted it out right away and they have done a very neat job all round. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and wish I had called them in sooner! What an amazing company to work with from start to finish. We engaged toner damp proofing initially when purchasing our new home, we were instructed by our home buyers survey to have a PCA registered damp & timber specialist carry out this survey. Patrick was great help and was happy to take my calls with all my questions (way to many) but him and they guys in the office went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. We finally purchased our home in July 2022 and Once we finally settled in mid august we contacted toner damp proofing and got a date for early September toner's came in and got straight to work for 14 days, the boys are the tidiest workmen I know, at the end of each day our home looked much better than the night before, no dust, no tools laying about and all our furniture covered completely while they were working. I cannot recommend this professional company enough, thank you very much for everything you have done for us, you have really made our house a home. Thank you. P.S, I contacted a well known local company in the same industry who claimed to be pca registered and qualified, however when I submitted the report it was rejected by the mortgage company because he was not registered or qualified. I first engaged with Toners for a timber and damp/rot survey that was needed to secure the mortgage on our house. The survey was extremely thorough and picked up on all the problems in the house (which there were many) so we knew what to expect. We went ahead with the purchase and booked the guys in for the work. The list was substantial - chipping back to brick outside and rerendering, replacing wood, treating wood, pointing, replacing beams, excavating tons of rubble from under the house, structural work, fixing a bay roof, guttering, improving air flow, resealing windows etc etc loads more. Too much to list. They were great to work with and it all went to plan. They finished on time, kept me in the loop and were very considerate. They are really hard workers and offered solutions wherever problems arose. It's a great team. Our new neighbours actually commented on their work ethic too, so I've passed the details on. Can't recommend them enough. Cheers to the Toner crew! PS I was originally put onto another "damp specialist" by the estate agent before buying the house. He was "easy to pay and knows his stuff"...nope...complete cowboy. Just be careful who you hire and make sure they're professionals. I dodged a bullet. Not only is this company brilliant at the service it provides the staff are lovely and keep you up to date with reminders of your appointment.
