    Stumbled across this shop, quite compact but had a lot of exotic pets, rabbits, and birds further back, and lots of things a pet owner may need. Downstairs is dedicated to fish, nice place to pop into if you have children (or anyone else interested) to have a browse at the animals. Please do respect the animals and follow instructions, including not tapping the glass on the tanks etc.!

    Hello, I visited Urban Jungle previously and here's my experience. My first impression was that the majority of the animals and aquatic life are well kept (apart from some fish that are kept in extremely small containers not bigger than two coffee cups) I made an enquiry about the animal I would like to purchase and begun asking questions...little did the lady with the grey shoulder length hair and glasses know the animal I was enquiring about I have years of experience with and bases off of the 'advice' she provided SHE OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PARTICULAR ANIMAL. However, I went back a few days later to purchase the animal I'd made an enquiry about but for the last 4 days one of them has been sneezing (which can be fatal for this particular pet) so yesterday I decided to go back and explain the situation and to my surprise the initial enthusiasm she had about making the sale was gone she said to me, "But they was fine here" okay. And? This doesn't explain one of them sneezing. She couldn't wait to rush me out the door and guess what? I was going to buy a parrot she has today for £450 but I looked elsewhere and got the exact same bird for £150!! They're an absolute RIP OFF and only seem in the business for monetary gain which is a shame. Can't wait to take your money but unwilling to accept responsibility for the lack of care. My initial thoughts about animals were wrong!
