I run a small handyman business in norfolk. A few of my customers have 40+ year old boats with volvo engines. Contacted the local norfolk dealership for parts and they said they'd get back to me. A year later they still havent. I contacted volspec and the service parts required for a pair of kad42s arrived the following morning at 8am. Excellent service. I spoke to martin on a second occasion and he managed to sort out most of the parts, even in the middle of a covid lockdown, this time the boat in question has had an engine change and martin took his time and helped with identification of the relavant parts. On the same boat paul drew the short straw. The boat in question would only pull just over 3000rpm flat out. Boat was severly overproped. After many emails exchanged and lots of info found. The correct prop has now been found, fitted and has given it the performance upgrade it should have. Cannot fault the guys at volspec on every occasion i've used them. Have used Volspec across 3 boats, while based on E.Coast. Regrettably we are moving away...they really have been superb. Responsive, even during the busy Covid days, and have delivered excellent results consistently, throughout. Not cheap, but then you get what you pay for. Dean @ Woolverstone is one of their stand out engineers. Highly recommended.

Paul and Martyn at Volspec helped us to achieve the almost impossible, when they secured a cylinder head for our working Fairline Targa motor cruiser based in Lagos, Algarve. We called them in desperate need of a replacement and they both joined forces to achieve what was needed at top speed. Not only did they arrange for a next day delivery of the new cylinder head from Belgium to their depot in Essex but when it arrived they hand delivered it to Algarve Removals to put on there vehicle to enable us to collect it in Portugal. Amazing service from professionals who know what they are doing and have the ethos to ensure their clients receive the support they desire even in such short time frames. Loved their can do attitude! Volspec have been absolutely fantastic. We needed special parts urgently for our Volvo Penta TAMD103A Maine Engine on our Sail Training Yacht; Prolific. If we had not got the part timely; then it would of had seriously bad implication on us commercially in delaying the start of our season but more importantly would of stopped us doing our charity work. We; Ocean Youth Trust South take disadvantaged young people to sea and improve their lives through adventure sailing. Not only did Volspec source the part we need when we where struggling to get them initially National, then within Europe and finally globally. Having just purchased a hot water outlet kit for my MD2010 I discovered that my water pump did not quite match the diagram included with the parts. I took photos of my pump and sent them off to Volspec for advice. They have been incredibly helpful highlighting on my photos exactly how these should be connected on my particular pump. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Highly recommend!!
