I recently purchased a Whaly 435 with a 30 horsepower Yamaha outboard and trailer from Yampower's Carlisle branch. I initially spoke to Phil in Glasgow who was very helpful. He put me in touch with Tony at Carlisle mainly because it was closer to my home in Cumbria. Tony, who is extremely experienced, helped me decide on the most suitable boat and outboard without any pressure or hard sell practices. The outboard was initially unavailable because of the current covid pandemic causing worldwide shortages. I was given an estimated shipping date by Tony and decided to wait, at the same time giving my deposit for the purchase. I admit to being pessimistic about the outboard delivery but it arrived ahead of time and was meticulously attached to the boat together with starter battery and console in no time. I got an email from Tony telling me the boat was ready for collection. The handover from him was extremely thorough with extra advice and tips and all questions answered. I have bought many boats in my time but on this occasion I have to say that dealing with Yampower was an exceptional, friendly and professional experience which deserves to be noted. I would thoroughly recommend Yampower to anyone.
