Just your usual pumpkin patch but the staff were AMAZING. The kids were fighting over their favourite pumpkin but we was shown to even more pumpkins and then they both were happy. Couldn’t thank the staff any more that was there

Good service and food/drinks. Had fun but only lasts 2 hours max. Good for a morning or afternoon, not a whole day.

We had a lovely morning walking around the woodland trail and pumpkin patch. I thought it was well worth the ticket cost and the pumpkins were very reasonably priced! Such a nice day out in autumn that won’t cost too much.

Pumpkin picking is our family tradition and this year we decided to try Wasing PYO. We have never been somewhere like this before. The fairy-tale pumpkin carriage was incredible and my daughter felt like a real princess! We got lots of compliments about the little red pumpkins we found in the patch by the trick-or-treating mums! Highly recommend.

The kids (3&7) were entertained for hours! My youngest was mesmerised by the puppet show, we had to watch it twice! And my eldest loved the activity sheet and harvest games area. And not to mention the hot chocolates! We’ll be back next year x

I visited Wasing with my family and had a brilliant time. There’s so much for children to do – activity sheets to complete along the woodland trail, crazy mirrors, pumpkin games and performances by a puppeteer which my son wanted to watch twice he enjoyed it so much, as well as the pumpkin picking of course! My son enjoyed playing in the pumpkin carriage and we came away with a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins. The woodland trail is a nice lead up to the pumpkin field and features a bat, owl, spiders and a frog with some fun facts along the way which my son enjoyed looking at. We had burgers and cake in the tent at the end which were delicious. We’ll definitely be returning next year – highly recommend.

This was our first pumpkin PYO experience and it was good fun. I do agree with some of the reviews that it can add up in price when you account for the cost of the entrance fee, price of the pumpkins (considerably dearer than the supermarket) and the drinks/food at the end but we still had fun. The route was buggy friendly and had a few decorations along the way to look at/take photos with. We went the weekend of Halloween and the field of pumpkins was very small. Next year, we will book the weekend earlier for more options of pumpkins.

We actually had a great time and had planned to visit again next year. That is until we went to carve our pumpkins and they were completely rotten! STRONGLY suspect these have been brought in from an external source to make up the numbers, which would explain why the side to the ground has rotted. The stalks are also incredibly short and in one case cut right to the fruit… which would also suggest they are commercial and not grown on site. Please be honest and transparent if you have to buy extra pumpkins in. This has really put us off coming back. A real shame. One extra star for the experience, photo opps and delicious pumpkin spiced latte.

My grandsons first time picking pumpkins and they throughly enjoyed themselves even ran back to make sure they completed their activity sheet although they could do with a smaller size wheelbarrow for the smaller children x
