Good shop to go buy all your ingredients for a homemade curry. The butchers is good there too. Friendly down to earth staff too. Helpful. Highly recommended

This shop is MEH. I have been here plenty of times, and let's just say the hygiene is quite bad. I have seen flies all over the produce and on the meat, they sell sauce, which again has been infested with flies. The fridges have a good selection of drinks, but, have flies all over the drinks at times. In some parts, the ceiling looks like it has collapsed/broken. They sell random stuff, from meat to clothes. The prices are OK, but I would recommend going somewhere else for meat and drinks. (Oh, and there is the occasional extortionate price for a drink)

Very poor customer service. Meat counter is a shambles staff speak little to no English and do not understand simple questions. Nothing is labelled properly in the freezers. Shop feels very unclean and unhygienic.

Have shopped here for many years. During the early years the upstairs was open with a wide range of home ware products, this is now closed and they offer a smaller range on the ground floor. The butchers is let out to another company and payment for meat and poultry is required at the butchers counter, they accept both cash and card. The main shop has a wide range of products in a clean environment and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
