Then in the past few months Will and Beth marketed it for sale. Although the buyers solicitors were really poor and nearly lost the sale, the sales team at the Barnsley branch pushed it forward and got the sale completed. We dealt with Graham, we signed for a property but unfortunately due to a problem beyond anyone’s control our house became inhabitable so we had to cancel. Graham then went out of his way to try and find us a house. Unfortunately the houses we saw weren’t right for us but Graham was amazing.

We have just sold our house through Whitegates and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others as the service we received was excellent. At the initial valuation Steve was friendly and professional. When it came to booking in viewings the sales team were always prompt in keeping us in the loop around what was going on with excellent communication via phone and text. Everyone was really accommodating when we went on holiday and were able to show our house for us while we were away. Once we had accepted an offer the team were great at keeping us in the loop about what was going on and Beth in particular went above and beyond in terms of chasing information about what was happening in our chain which really helped alleviate some of our worries! This is the first time we've ever sold and I would highly recommend Whitegates. I'm aware that there are cheaper online estate agents available, but it's well worth considering the additional service you from a more traditional agent who will really put the effort in to get your sale over the line. In my view it's definitely been worth the small additional spend! Anyway - thanks again to all the team!
