  My friend and I each purchased the "Scrumptious Spa Day" package which unfortunately, wasn't remotely scrumptious. Apart from the facilities at the spa which were ok; offering lots of different rooms and hydropool etc. the food was poor. The itinerary for the day stated to arrive at 8:30, an early start, but we were looking forward to the breakfast or 9am "brunch". This was served in the Terrace Cafe, which is certainly not a terrace!! Instead it's a dingy cantine in the leisure centre with people constantly walking back and forth to the changing rooms. It has ripped leather chairs and an overrall tired appearance. We had the huevos rancheros; 2 small fried eggs on 2 small tortilla wraps with a load of mixed beans chucked on and a few chopped tomatoes and an avocado covered in black seeds.... A very unfilling breakfast which had no flavour! Then came a very small fruit "platter" to share. At 3pm was the "Afternoon tea (treats)", however this was not served until 3:30 and were told would not include a beverage of any kind. After complaining that not to even get a cup of tea/coffee included was a bit strange, the waitress agreed and spoke to her manager. He still said they could not offer a drink with the afternoon tea despite another group of people on the same package storming out of the spa because of this terrible service. With such poor quality of food and terrible customer service, (the manager seemed to want to hide himself away with the number of complaints coming in) I would avoid this package as there was zero value for money and I will not be returning to this spa!

  Beautiful location, helpful friendly staff and fantastic facilities. Lots of parking on site. Food & drinks: Buffet lunch and coffee / tea and snacks available throughout the day.

  Rooms: Club Room Very nice Nice touch with Snacks too Food & drinks: Lovely Food we had Dinner and Breakfast in the Aston’s Restaurant Very helpful Waiter for Dinner Also very pleased with how Allergies were Labelled saved having to ask every 5 Minutes, really was a great help, Thank You

  Rooms: Classic room was okay but had a brick wall as our view from our window and also bad smell from the drains in bathroom . We should of been upgraded but wasn’t Food & drinks: Food was great and great service

  Enjoyed ever minute of our stay but little things need to be addressed in the room. Needs a bit of attention but didn't distract from the comfortable and clean room. Food & drinks: Excellent food at a very high standard and the wine list was extensive. Plenty to choose from and didn't scimp on the portions. Lunch and breakfast exceeded our expectations.

  Rooms: We had a classic room which was a lot bigger than we expected, every clean and nice decor, only gripe was a bit of black mould around the bath and the shower had seen better days Food & drinks: Food was very good both nights, and a good choice at the bar

  Rooms: Large room, which is great but desperately in need of a refurb and upgrade for the price, especially bathroom. TV is far too small! New pillows would be a bonus. Walls are paper thin with no sound proofing. Food & drinks: Need to expand vegan and veggie options. Add some interesting breads to the dull ‘brown or white’ sliced options at breakfast.
