Very difficult to get an appointment. When I do manage it there is no one else in and only one doctor and they are useless too. No help at all. Conflicting info given. No empathy. Very poor. I've given this one star because the receptionists do their best.

Terrible! NHS direct is more helpful, with my problem the NHS direct sent a report to them to say I had to see a doctor with 24 hours! When I told my surgery this they told me to ring back in the morning...they are stuck on a script! "Ring at 8am, goto A&E or ring 111 after 6" even if you ring in the morning the lines are jammed packed! Took 3 days to get an appointment! You don't see GPs anymore only consultants. They just don't seem to have a clue, 3 times this has happend. Think I'm just going to switch practices. I don't trust this surgery anymore after years of being a patient there. Used to be good when the staff actually cared about thier patients

My husband has been suffering with high blood pressure for over a year now and is still trying to get to the bottom of the cause (he's not overweight and is very active). He has just been told that he can't see a Doctor because there isn't one at Russell Road Surgery anymore they've gone down to Wibsey. Nurse said not sure when they would get another one. Absolutely disgraceful. Then people wonder why the NHS is in such a state. Sometimes you how no choice but to go to A&E.
