Box Making Course 21-22/01/23. Fantastic course, as someone who hasn’t done this before the tutor and environment were excellent. The equipment provided was top notch and razor sharp, it allowed you to understand what is needed to produce a beautiful wooden box and strive for perfection. The tutor was excellent and took time to answer all our questions, to demo what we needed to do and to tell us how to rectify our mistakes, not do it for us. Veneering and parquetry course was excellent. The teaching was pitched at the perfect level with a very small group so plenty of help when needed. Well equipped workshop and so fantastic pieces on display from past and present students. Came home with a beautiful steam bent handle veneered tray which was way better than I expected to produce. I am keen to try more courses and would highly recommend Williams and Cleal Furniture School.

I recently attended the Precision Hand Tools weekend course. It was a fantastic experience due to the excellent tuition and guidance provided by Justin. The level of precision that could be achieved with simple chisels and planes was a revelation and my skills have certainly improved.
