Would highly recommend. We went in one boat, as 3 Adults, 1 Child and 2 Dogs (Dogs are allowed), and there was plenty of space. One hour was long enough with us because of the child and the dogs. Ahmed and the team were great, very helpful and friendly.

We went to Ambleside today to hire a motor boat with Lake Windermere Cruises. We were met by Ahmed, the most enthusiastic and charming man! He was very friendly and full of joy! He made the whole experience of hiring a boat so much fun and we had a very lovely day as a result! I would definitely recommend and we hope to return next time we’re in the Lake District. We hired the self drive boats for a 2 hour trip from their waterhead site. The boats were clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. Once out on the water it was good fun and you could share the driving. Great spots for some nice photos as well.
