Picture the scene: we'd sailed our family sailing yacht around from the East coast to the Solent over a couple of successive weekends. Our summer holiday started the next weekend. When we arrived, we realised the big seacock or through-hull was leaking, seawater, and it was getting worse. End of holiday? The marina staff recommended YS, and within 30 minutes we had a plan. YS would attend the lift at the end of the working day, having sourced the part a few hours earlier. They'd brought two variants so as to reduce the risk of wasting a day. They fitted the new through-hull and valve, and helped me change a prop anode at the same time. We found a hotel for the night, as the boat had to stay in the slings.
