I have been with this practice for nearly 20 years and I am sorry to say that it has definitely not improved since it became part of York Medical Group, making me feel more like just a number than ever. Never any issues with the doctors but it is often very difficult to get through to reception staff. I am surprised that reception is not open all day for a relatively large practice. Its a real nuisance not being able to phone between certain hours. When I get round to it I will be transferring to another practice.

I’ve given the practice one star if there was a minus one then that would have been my review. Since the take over by York Medical group it’s been an absolute shambles to get an appointment to see a doctor ( even before lockdown). The last time I saw a doctor I requested an MRI scan on my back 8 months of agony. Wasn’t referred NHS but referred to private at my own cost £400 to find I need surgery. No faith in them and now when I’m ill I don’t want to go to the gp’s. Bring back the old way of looking after patients. If you can find alternative GP I would if I was you. I am currently waiting to get into another GP’s surgery but Covid holding things up

Poor very poor service and they just don't care. We are not patients anymore we are customers and they have zero customer service. Pathetic excuse for a surgery if you can still call it that. 2020: Still no better in fact worse, reception staff are hopeless I doubt they could run a tap. And this has nothing to do with Covid 19, a good excuse for them though. I no longer believe a word they say, all trust now gone.
