A hidden delight just outside of York's walls. Lovely atmosphere, excellent service and fantastic lunch with high quality and delicious cheeses (loved the local crumbly cheese and the Spanish brie-style smelly!). Go with an empty tummy!

Amazing lunch. Knowledgeable, helpful staff. Nice small eating area, the Speakcheesy. Cheese platters were generous and plenty of crackers. Cheese toasty was to die for. Bought some of our favourites from the deli to take home. It's easy to miss on the busy high street, but it's a hidden gem. Highly recommend and will be back to try out the small garden area. Dog friendly.
